From February 1st, ALDI is taking part in the national rollout of the Government’s Deposit Return Scheme across all of our stores nationwide, led by Re-turn. 

This now means when you buy a drink in a plastic bottle, aluminium or steel can featuring the new Re-turn logo.

In order to get your deposit back, you can bring your empties to our Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) and a voucher will be printed.

You can then take your voucher in to the store where you already returned your empties, and simply redeem it for 1) Cash value or 2) against your shopping bill at the till.

ALDI accept in scope, undamaged, recyclable items purchased from any retailer in Ireland. Just make sure to give your containers a quick rinse and remove any excess contents before dropping them off.
